This notice explains how the operator of PolyVerse Market (“PolyVerse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information through the public website and waitlist currently available. It should be read with our Terms of Use.

2. Information we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, your consent choice and consent version, the fictional world or source you joined from, and the first and most recent signup times. We normalize email addresses so repeat submissions remain one waitlist entry.

The current waitlist does not ask for account profiles, predictions, wallet details, payment information, or blockchain activity.

3. How we use information

We use waitlist information to:

• record and maintain your waitlist request;
• send requested access and launch updates;
• prevent duplicate, fraudulent, or abusive submissions;
• understand which fictional world led to your signup; and
• comply with law and protect the website.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent, the steps needed to provide the waitlist service you requested, our legitimate interest in protecting that service, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Browser preferences

The website may remember limited choices on your device, such as the selected world, audio setting, data-saver choice, and reduced-motion preference. You can clear these preferences through your browser settings. Clearing them may reset your viewing experience.

5. Retention

We keep waitlist information until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or it is no longer needed for access updates. We may keep a limited record of consent or an unsubscribe request when needed to respect your choice, resolve a dispute, or meet a legal obligation. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect waitlist information. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur.

7. Your choices and rights

You can use the unsubscribe link in a PolyVerse email to stop receiving waitlist updates. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, or to withdraw consent. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

8. International processing

Waitlist information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use safeguards intended to protect information transferred across borders.

9. Children

The waitlist is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have done so, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the waitlist and our practices change. We will post the revised version and effective date here, and provide additional notice when required by law or when a change materially affects you.
